One of my newsletter subscribers notified me that my previous newsletter format was hard on the eyes. I've decided to change the format and get rid of the graphics and coloring. Also, a list of all of the pertinent links from the newsletter will be added at the bottom of the message.

I had a wonderful time with my family at the Balloon Fiesta this year. It was so great seeing it through the eyes of my daughter. There's nothing like viewing life through a child's eyes to make you pay attention to the little things.

I hope you had a wonderful Labor Day holiday (for my US subscribers). Ironically, it was one of the first weekends where I wasn't "laboring". I enjoyed the time off and felt rejuvenated when Tuesday rolled around.

My husband and I recently celebrated our Independence Day. It's the day that we moved to a new state, started our business, and dedicated ourselves to a life that we defined on our own terms.
